The work aims to summarize and analyze the development status of pH-responsive intelligent packaging in the field of food packaging to promote the functional, intelligent, and green ecological integration of food packaging. Firstly, the classification and function of intelligent packaging were briefly introduced, and the principle of pH responsive intelligent packaging was analyzed. Subsequently, the indicator types of pH-responsive intelligent packaging and their characteristics were summarized. Then, focusing on the practical applications of pH-responsive intelligent packaging in aquatic products, dairy products, fruits, and vegetables, the preparation and performance of pH-responsive intelligent packaging were reviewed. Finally, the research potential and challenges of pH-responsive intelligent packaging in the field of food packaging were discussed. pH responsive intelligent packaging can accurately evaluate the quality and freshness of food and has promising application prospects in the field of food packaging. |
