      目的 瓦楞纸板因其低成本、轻质、易加工、高强度和良好的印刷适应性,在包装行业应用广泛。但其耐折性差,尤其在加工时易在压痕处爆裂,是行业面临的难题之一。本研究通过表面成膜和增强纤维结合力,并考虑含水量对耐折度的影响,开发一种提高瓦楞纸板耐折性的局部处理涂料。方法 本文以聚乙烯醇(PVA)为基材,开发了PVA/CMC-Na、PVA/Gly、PVA/Gly/JFC 3种涂料,并进行不同比例和浓度的性能测试。结果 PVA/CMC-Na涂料虽然提升了纸板的撕裂度、抗张强度和耐破度,但由于含水量降低,耐折性改善效果有限。PVA/Gly涂料在Gly质量分数约为11%时,其耐折度提高效果最佳,但在高浓度时会导致纸板强度下降。PVA/Gly/JFC涂料在JFC质量分数为0.05%~0.15%时,瓦楞纸板的双向折叠次数显著提高,且不影响纸板的基本强度性能。结论 PVA/Gly/JFC涂料仅需处理纸板压痕部分即可提高纸板折痕处的含水量和保水效果,增强表面成膜和增强纤维结合力,显著提升瓦楞纸板耐折性能,同时保持了纸板的正常使用性能,为瓦楞纸箱行业提供了一种有效的解决方案。

      Corrugated board is widely used in the packaging industry due to its low cost, light weight, easy processing, high strength and good printing adaptability. However, a big problem for the business is its low folding resistance, particularly its propensity to burst at the indentation during processing. The work aims to develop a localized treatment coating to improve the folding resistance of corrugated board through surface film formation and enhanced fiber bonding and by considering the effect of water content on folding resistance. In this research, three coatings of PVA/CMC-Na, PVA/Gly, and PVA/Gly/JFC were developed with polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) as the base material and the performance at different ratios and concentrations was tested. Although the PVA/CMC-Na coating improved the tear strength, tensile strength, and breakage resistance of the boards, the improvement in folding resistance was constrained due to decreased water content. Conversely, the PVA/Gly coatings exhibited optimal enhancement in folding resistance at a glycerol (Gly) mass concentration of approximately 11%, but resulted in diminished board strength at higher concentrations. Notably, the PVA/Gly/JFC coatings significantly improved the bi-directional folding count of corrugated board at a juncao fiber (JFC) mass concentration ranging from 0.05% to 0.15%, without compromising the fundamental strength properties of the board. By treating the indentation on corrugated boards, the PVA/Gly/JFC coatings effectively improve the water content and water retention effect at the crease, enhance the surface film formation and strengthen the fiber bonding force, and significantly improve the folding resistance of corrugated boards while maintaining their normal utility. This provides the corrugated box industry with an effective solution to a persistent challenge.
