      Based on the TRIZ theory, it analyzed the elderly supplies in the design as well as discussed the stairs bring inconvenience to older people. It put forward the design of assistance armrest, introduced the internal results and using principle, reverse principle, dynamic principle and the intermediary principle, which are 40 innovation principle in TRIZ theory to solve the problems in design.
