      ObjectiveIt studied the application methods of brief design concept in lighting products. MethodsIt discussed the basic concept of minimalism and its design concept.Through the analysis of design background and examples， it described the specific application of brief design concept in lighting product. ConclusionThree methods are discussed on the application of brief design concept in lighting products，namely，brief form，light and shadow design；brief control mode design；brief materials and structure design.
