      Objective It discussed the methods of traditional creation of round fan，which reflected the enlightenment of contemporary design.Methods It explained the name interpretation of and embodied traditional design thoughts of ancient round fan，analyzed the reasons of grown-up and enduring of round fan. Conclusion That today′s design to remain independent and to identify long-term development in the wave of world civilization，must be combined with the traditional design methods of creation，reflecting the culture of the same strain of the parent in order to be able to create a lasting impact on the way people live outstanding works.
