      It studies the extraction and protection of local characteristics in tourist souvenirs. Based on the analysis of the various parts of China tourism souvenirs local feature extraction， it sums up the local characteristics in terms of tourist souvenirs of experience， and then from three sides in the face of tourist souvenirs on the protection of the local characteristics. The essential attribute is tourist souvenirs with local characteristics， integrated into the local characteristics in the tourist souvenirs which has become the eternal theme in the development of tourist souvenirs. Only into the regional characteristic in the tourist souvenirs， can improve the income of the tourist souvenirs， enhance tourist souvenirs spread the function of the local culture.
