      目的 “孟菲斯”设计作为西方后现代工业设计思潮中的典型代表，对“孟菲斯”设计的批判思想与批判策略进行研究，有助于深化对西方后现代设计与激进设计的理解与认知，并为现实设计实践提供理论启示。方法 以时代语境与国际设计思潮为背景，与现代主义设计进行比较分析，以“孟菲斯”的设计作品为解读对象，剖析“孟菲斯”设计的批判策略。结论 “孟菲斯”设计以代表技术理性且日益僵化的“意大利线条”为首要批判目标，采用失调的比例与尺度、材料的感性组合、对比强烈的几何造型等畸趣设计手法，通过借鉴波普设计，并运用隐喻认知手法融入大众文化，针对象征精英与权贵同时又日益固化与守成的意大利正统设计发起了强烈而决绝的批判。

      The work aims to study the critical thinking and strategy of “Memphis” design, which is helpful to deepen the understanding and cognition of Western post-modern design and radical design, and provides theoretical enlightenment for the practical design practice, as “Memphis” design is a typical representative of the post-modern industrial design trend in the West. Based on the context of the times and international design trends, a comparative analysis was made with modernism design, and works of “Memphis” design were taken as the object of interpretation to analyze the critical strategy of “Memphis” design. With the increasingly rigid “Italian lines” representing technical rationality as the primary target of criticism, “Memphis” design employs such abnormal design techniques as imbalanced proportion and scale, perceptual combination of materials, strong contrast of geometric modeling, etc. A strong and absolute criticism has been launched for the Italian orthodox design, which symbolizes elites and dignitaries and is becoming more and more solidified and conservative at the same time, by drawing lessons from Pop’s design and integrating metaphorical cognitive techniques into popular culture.
