By employing techniques such as simplification, generalization, or exaggeration, Abstract images were translated, and the core content was showcased by stripping away superficial decorations, to reshape the imagery of the ridge decorations and explore avenues for their integration with modern design. The conclusion drawn is that the image of ridge decorations on ancestral temples in southeastern Guangxi vividly portrays the characteristics of cultural integration in China, embodying the essence of regional culture and narrative logic, thus serving as a treasure trove for modern innovative design. Modern graphic design should delve into traditional origins, and pave new paths for design innovation and image narrative research, which can not only showcase ethnic uniqueness but also effectively align with modern life, and thereby facilitate the sustained development and regeneration of culture.
